Incident # 25-03203 - Eight people were injured, including six children when an SUV and a Semi-Truck collided on I-95 at the 53 northbound exit. The SUV overturned following the impact. The truck driver was not injured. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the injured at the scene and requested a second Fire-Rescue ambulance to assist with the number of patients. All patients received non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Colleton Medical Center for additional treatment. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
Engine 1, Medic 1, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 104 responded. Captain Bryan Eadon served as incident Commander.
