Incident # 25-03434 - An adult female was fatally shot in the 200 block of Grace Street Monday evening 28-April at 23:32. The victim was found by a neighbor who heard the gunshots and found the victim in an empty lot. She began performing good CPR until Firefighter-Paramedics arrived. Crews continued CPR, began advanced resuscitative care, then transported the woman emergent to Colleton Medical Center in Fire-Rescue Medic 1. The ED staff continued care, but the woman did not survive her injuries. The Walterboro Police Dept is conducting the investigation.
Medic 1, Battalion 1, Car 104 and Car 105 responded. Chief McRoy served as Incident Commander.
