Incident # 25-03607 - An adult female was critically injured when her motorcycle left the roadway and collided with a mailbox post Monday afternoon 05-May at 16:41. The woman received multiple traumatic injuries. Firefighter-Paramedics treated her at the scene including bleeding control. A medical helicopter was requested and C.A.R.E. Flight landed at the Cottageville Elementary School. The patient was transported emergent to meet with C.A.R.E. Flight. She was transferred to the flight crew, then flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the MVC.
Engine 9, Medic 9 and Battalion 1 responded. Captain David Goins served as Incident Commander.
