Incident # 25-06756 - An adult male received multiple injuries in fall from a ladder Wednesday morning 27-Aug at 10:04. The home is newly constructed along the Edisto River in some old rice fields approximately 5 miles from an improved road. Fire-Rescue units were sent to an address on Hope Plantation Road which was a substantial distance from the actual location. The home was actually located at the end of Ti Ti Road several miles from the reported location. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene and requested a medical helicopter. CARE Flight flew to the scene and transported the man to the Trauma Center at MUSC.
Engine 6, Medic 6, Battalion 1 and CARE Flight responded. Battalion Chief Scott O'Quinn served as Incident Commander.
