03/November/2025 - Structure Fire - "B" Shift Incident # 25-08716 - A residential structure on Bazzle Farm Lane was damaged in a morning fire Sunday 03-Nov at 10:45. The occupants were at home when they heard a popping noise. Upon investigating, they discovered the back of the house was on fire. They were able to get all of the animals safely out and all occupants exited the building. The fire appears to have started outside the home near the back porch. The fire burned up the side of the structure and entered the attic space, spreading across the attic space. Engine 26 arrived and deployed one handline to extinguish the fire. Firefighters had to pull the ceiling in several rooms to reach the flames. Most of the fire damage was on the exterior and above the living space. Most personal items were saved. Fire-Rescue units were on the scene for a little over an hour. Engine 1, Engine 26, Tender 1, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 27, Medic 18, Medic 26, Battalion 1, Car 111 and Car 112 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander. |
