23/December/2025 - Woods and Building Fire - "C" Shift


Incident 25-10156 - An unattended trash fire spread to nearby woods and ignited two storage buildings in the 500 block of Sixth Street Tuesday afternoon 23-Dec at 14:40. Engine 19 arrived to find two storage buildings burning and deployed multiple handlines to extinguish the fires. The smaller metal building and its contents were destroyed. The larger wooden building was heavily damaged but Firefighters were able to stop the spread of the fire and saved much of the contents. They also stopped the spread of the woods fire. No injuries were reported in the incident. Fire-Rescue units were on the scene for about two hours. 


Engine 19, Tender 19, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
