24/December/2025 - Structure Fire - "C" Shift Incident # 25-010172 - A storage building and workshop were destroyed in an early morning fire in the 100 block of Calloh Drive Wednesday morning 24-Dec. At 06:31, a neighbor reported what they thought was a fire in the woods behind a residence. A second caller reported to 9-1-1 that a building on the property was on fire. Engine 19 arrived a short time later to find the two buildings fully involved, endangering the doublewide mobile home on the property. Crews deployed multiple handlines to protect the mobile home and extinguish the fires in the two buildings. A wooden privacy fence and approximately 1/2 acre of woods was also on fire. Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from damaging the mobile home, however the pump house was damaged. They had the fire under control in about 20 minutes, but were on the scene for three hours performing overhaul. The two buildings and all of the contents were destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Engine 19, Engine 26, Tender 1, Tender 5, Tender 26, Medic 1, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 118 responded.
