Incident # 26-00695 - An adult male received a critical gun shot wound in a shooting incident at a residence in the 100 block of London Lane Monday morning 26-Jan at 07:57. Sheriff's Deputies cleared the scene and Firefighter-Paramedics treated the young man who had several wounds. No medical helicopters could fly due to poor weather conditions. He was transported emergent in Fire-Rescue Medic 19 to the Trauma Center at HCA Trident Hospital in North Charleston in critical condition. Additional Firefighter-Paramedics assisted with his care during transport. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
Engine 19, Medic 19 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Scott O'Quinn served as Incident Commander.
