30/March/2026 – Structure Fire “A” Shift


Incident # 26-02614 Fire-Rescued was alerted by a third party caller to a possible woods fire behind a residence in the 8000 block of Charleston Highway. Fire-Rescue arrived on scene and found a 30 x 30 grass fire along with a fully involved shed. The call was upgraded to a structure fire sending additional personnel and apparatus to the scene. Engine 12 arrived on scene and deployed a 1 ¾” attack line to combat the structure fire and contain the grass fire, keeping the fire from reaching the primary residence. Brush 27 and Engine 6 arrived on scene and deployed attack lines as well. The South Carolina Forestry Commission was requested to respond a Law Enforcement Officer and a Plow. SCFC assets arrived on scene and secured a fire break around the fire. Fire-Rescue units were on scene for 2 hours. Engine 12, Engine 6,
