Incident # 26-07867 - An adult was critically injured in an incident on I-95 near the 44 mile marker northbound, Thursday morning 17-Sept. At approximately 02:48, a paving crew resurfacing a section of the Interstate, found the person lying semiconscious in the median, suffering from multiple injuries and a head injury. They provided care and contacted 9-1-1. Medic 13 stationed in Jonesville arrived minutes later. Firefighter-Paramedics took over care and requested a medical helicopter. CARE Flight flew to the scene and landed on the Interstate. The patient was transferred to the Flight Crew, then flown to a Trauma Center. A construction worker noted a person in a vehicle had driven up to them looking for someone who reported jumped from the moving vehicle, but the drfiver fled the scene when emergency responders began to arrive.
