Colleton County Fire-Rescue's Community
Emergency Response Team (CERT) is part of the
Emergency Management Division and consists
of volunteer personnel that are trained in
disaster preparedness and basic disaster
response skills, such as fire safety, light
search and rescue, team organization, and
disaster medical operations. Through
CERT, Colleton County Fire-Rescue's
capabilities to prepare for, respond to and
recover from disasters is enhanced. To
