06/December/2025 - Awards Ceremony and Holiday Meal Fire-Rescue members, their families and dignitaries gathered at the Colleton Middle School for the annual awards banquet and Christmas dinner. 04/December/2025 - Structure Fire - "A" Shift A Colleton County woman was injured and displaced from her home following an early morning structure fire in the 100 block of Cox Street Thursday morning 04-December. The fire was reported at 05:27 by a neighbor. The occupant was asleep in a chair when she was awakened by her blanket being on fire. She advised it was ignited by a nearby space heater. The woman received burns to her legs, but was able to escape the burning home. She ran to a neighbor's house to obtain help. Engine 19 arrived approx 6 minutes later, to find the singlewide mobile home approx 40 percent involved. Click here for additional information. |

01/December/2025 - Structure Fire - "C" Shift A residential dwelling was heavily damaged in a morning fire in the 200 block of Charlie Smith Lane, Monday morning 01-December at 08:28. Callers to 9-1-1 reported smoke coming from the roof of the home. Engine 13 arrived minutes later to find heavy smoke coming from all sides of the building and flames coming from the roof at the rear of the building. Firefighter-Paramedics made entry through the front door and stopped the spread of the fire, containing the blaze to the north end of the home. Click here for additional information. |
